Charles Durrett, resident in the USA, is an internationally recognized American architect specializing in housing communities. Over the years, he has visited and attached himself to several Danish housing communities, including Trudeslund and Skråplanet. With speech and pictures, Charles will share perspectives on life in housing communities - including future models - and about when cohousing communities age and about the importance of architecture. Charles draws on decades of experience in designing and creating cohousing communities and living in them himself. Charles has designed more than 55 cohousing around the world, has published several books on the subject, and is an experienced, well-known speaker.
About Skråplanet - we are a housing association established in 1973 and hereby invite friends and interested parties from other housing associations to a lecture on 30 June at 4pm in Skråplanet's Community House.
We hold an open cafe in the community center from 3-6 pm with an invitation to get together and network before and after the lecture. And we are happy to offer a tour of our 50-year-old housing association. We are looking forward to seeing you!
