Are you serious about living in Senior Cohousing?  Are you ready to take the next steps? You won’t want to miss the 2018 Senior Cohousing Intensive in Bainbridge, WA on June 15 – 17.

The conference will be a weekend filled with learning, looking, and listening. We will kick things off with a warm welcome to Bainbridge Island on Friday night. This is your chance to meet other participants and your hosts.

On Saturday, participants will travel to Port Townsend where they will visit Quimper Village! This is your chance to meet members of a new cohousing community and talk to them about their experience living in a safe, supportive, and inspiring neighborhood they helped create!

Sunday, participants will spend the day at Office Xpats Coworking and Conference Center, gaining inspiration and tools from those who have created cohousing before. Sunday will include:

1. What we did, how we did it, and what we’d do differently (lessons learned) and a little bit about why we did it. We’re not just making real estate here! And was it worth it? Moderated by Quimper Village residents;

2. If we (Quimper Village and/or Chuck Durrett) lived in your town, what we’d do to move you into senior cohousing as soon as possible, moderated by cohousing architect Charles Durrett with Quimper Village residents.

This event is for those ready to become residents of their own state-of-the-art senior cohousing community. Those who attend will come away from this weekend inspired and equipped with the tools to move forward with their own projects. We are limiting entry to 20 motivated people, offering participants a small group setting where their voices can be heard.

Join us if your vision is to live in a senior cohousing community in the near future.

Details:

Dates: Friday, June 15 (evening), Saturday, June 16 (all day) - Sunday, June 17 (all day)
